“When we bought the property I was so excited about the large space on the roof which I knew would be perfect for parties. We bought some nice furniture for it and we had one container with plants in but it felt very empty. Meeting Dora and getting her to design the space was fantastic as I could see how it could really look like a proper garden on the roof and how we could use it to its full potential.Getting it built was quite daunting, a crane was needed to get the materials up there! Also the floor of the roof had to be completely checked to ensure the draining was adequate for the planters. But the company Dora recommended for the build were brilliant. Choosing the plants and planting was so much fun, it was so helpful to have recommendations from Dora as to what plants would work well. I know I will be adding new plants to the space over time too. We had a very successful summer entertaining on our roof and I am so happy with it. Dora is now trying to convince me that an important design aspect she missed first time around that we really need up there, is a bar…” 

“ We have a large garden that consisted of lots of old roots and overgrown shrubs and trees. The garden had not had much care the last years, so it really needed some attention. We recently renovated the house completely into a more modern look so in sum we saw the need for a "garden makeover". We had some ideas and thoughts ourselves, but given the size and our lack of knowledge on plants and gardening, we contacted Dora to get some expert help to get it all into one plan. Already from the first meeting she provided tips, insights and inspiration. Dora was attentive and diligient in her work and  managed to design our garden into something that both took our needs and wishes into account and added the little extra in addition. Although she's not Norwegian, she spend a lot of time understanding the local conditions and what plants and flowers fits in the neighbourhood and climate. She delivered a great design, provided detailed information on her thoughts behind it and also technical info on the plants proposed. She also gave alternatives for all parts of the garden so that we could discuss and decide together on what we preferred without compromising the overall design. Furthermore, we especially liked that she is well connected with garden centers where we could buy really solid plants and trees. Dora also offers planting- and other gardening services on an hourly basis which we found very useful at times. We planted all plants, shrubs and trees during the summer and already by late summer the garden was exploding in colours and texture. Really happy with the result and to get Doras professional insight and help when planning our garden. We can really recommend her services!"

"We contacted Dora as we moved into a new property with a boring, poor quality lawn and needed advice and inspiration. She spent considerable time understanding our requirements and how our space could be used most effectively. When we first saw her suggestions and plans we were blown away - circles rather than straight lines, removing most of the lawn to replace with a combination of shingle beds and planting and it felt like a very bold step, especially as we intended to do most of the work ourselves. With her detailed planning and practical support, we transformed what had been a mundane space with too much grass to mow to a beautiful space which flows between trees, shrubs and sturctured areas. We now love spending time in the garden and have had so many queries from friends and neighbours - we can't recommend Dora highly enough!"

“We have a large garden that we’ve worked on for a few years, without really having a plan.
